A new active is only as real as its first product. For SmartArrow®, that moment arrived on 20 July 2026, when KINS Clinic Singapore launched the BioRevive Gel Mask — a rinse-off mask for acne-prone and sensitive skin, built around ArrowBiome's precision microbiome technology.

Publishing data is not the same as shipping product

It is one thing to publish clinical data. It is another to see an ingredient survive the journey from a controlled study, through formulation and manufacturing, onto a clinic's shelf and into a patient's routine.

Formulators ask one question about any new active: has anyone actually shipped with it? For SmartArrow®, the answer is now yes — and the rest of this piece is how that happened.

Three specialists, one product

No single company owns every step from science to shelf. The BioRevive Gel Mask exists because three organisations each contributed what they do best.

  • KINS Clinic — the clinic. A Singapore acne clinic that brought the clinical setting, the treatment protocol and the brand: the real-world context in which the product had to perform.
  • ArrowBiome — the science. Supplied SmartArrow®, the underlying intellectual property, and the clinical evidence base that gave the formulation its reason to exist.
  • CHAKS — the formulator. A GMP manufacturer that engineered the active into a stable, elegant, manufacturable rinse-off mask.

Science supplies the active. A clinic supplies the context. A formulator supplies the craft. All three had to align for a precision ingredient to become a product.

What the clinical data showed

The confidence to build a product came from a 28-day, dermatologist-supervised study of SmartArrow® as a standalone active. The results pointed to visible improvement alongside a clean tolerability record.

Tolerability mattered as much as efficacy

For acne-prone and sensitive skin — where aggressive actives so often trade results for irritation — the combination of measurable improvement and zero reported adverse events is the whole point of precision.

Consumer perception at Day 28 tracked the clinical picture: 94% of participants reported smoother skin, 85% reported visibly clearer-looking skin, and 79% were satisfied with the longer-term effect.

Why a precision active belongs in a mask

Conventional acne products often lean on antibiotics or harsh actives that act on the skin indiscriminately, and can leave it stripped, red and reactive. SmartArrow® works differently: it is designed to disrupt the biofilm of C. acnes, the bacterium associated with breakouts, while leaving the beneficial skin microbiome intact.

That selectivity is what makes it suitable for a rinse-off mask intended for regular use on sensitive skin — no antibiotics, no harsh actives. The format and the active are matched: gentle enough to use often, precise enough to matter.
